The multidisciplinary Advisory Board provides feedback about the site. The Board comprises representatives from
psychiatry, clinical psychology, mental health nursing, general practice, peak mental health organisations,
rural mental health, government, business, and the media.
Consumers were consulted anonymously in the development of BluePages, and users continue to provide feedback about the site. Any errors or problems with the site are the responsibility of CMHR and not the Advisory Board.
Ian is the Director of the Brain & Mind Research Institute, University of Sydney, and Clinical Advisor to beyondblue: the National Depression Initiative. He was previously the CEO of beyondblue, the Director of the Academic Department of Psychiatry at St George Hospital and Professor of Community Psychiatry at UNSW. He has also been a Director of SPHERE - a national depression project involving education and training. Ian's research interests are in the treatment of depression, risk factors for depression, neuroimaging in mood disorders and the physical health effects of depression.
Ken is the Head of Psychiatry at the University of Tasmania. He pioneered the development and evaluation of computerised methods for treating anxiety disorders. His research interests are in the areas of e-mental health, computer aided treatment of anxiety disorders, the epidemiology of psychiatric disorders and the genetics of bipolar disorder.
Sue is author of the popular Australian book 'Beating the Blues'. She runs her own private clinical psychology practice in Sydney and has previously worked in the Mood Disorders Unit at Prince Henry Hospital.
Greg is the Director of Mental Health in the Southern Area Mental Health Services of NSW.
Robert is a psychologist with the Royal Australian Flying Doctor Services (Queensland Section). As well as providing clinical services to rural and remote communities he has developed an interactive CD-ROM - Psychological First Aid Kit, for training GPs and other health care professionals in mental health skills.
Georgia is a clinical psychologist who runs her own practice in the ACT. She also works part time at the CMHR. Georgia has special expertise in family counselling and treating mental health problems among children and young people. She previously worked as a clinical psychologist in a number of different mental health agencies.
Greg Battye is Program Director of Media in the Division of Communication and Education at the University of Canberra. His particular interests are in multimedia applications and interactivity on the web.
Des Graham is a former CEO of the Mental Health Council of Australia.
Mick O'Hara is the former Director of the Quality and Effectiveness Section of the Mental Health and Special Program Branch of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care.
Rae is a health reporter and presenter with the ABC's Health Report and a reporter on Health Matters, the ABC's online health gateway. She has a particular interest in depression and has established her own depression information subsite on the ABC web site
Phil is Group Manager of Sales and Marketing at TransACT and provided strategic advice to the BluePages team.
